Description

Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated 8th February 1751 between Thomas Walford of Wolverton gentleman Elizabeth his wife of one part and Seymour Walford of the same place gentleman (eldest son and heir of the said Thomas Walford) and Stephen Edkins of Birmingham gentleman of the other part whereby Thomas Walford and Elizabeth his wife in consideration of £1200 to Thomas Walford paid by Seymour Walford and of 5/- paid to Thomas Walford by Stephen Edkins, they the said Thomas Walford and Elizabeth his wife conveyed the premises described in DR 38/952 to Seymour Walford and Stephen Edkins and their heirs for ever in trust for Seymour Walford and to the interest that Felicia, wife of the said Seymour Walford should be barred of dower out of the said hereditaments. Covenant by Thomas Walford and Elizabeth his wife against all incumbrances except the Annuity of £20 per annum payable to Hugh Walford (see DR 38/954) and the Mortgage described in DR 38/958 also to levy a Fine to the use of Seymour Walford Stephen Edkins and their heirs for ever in trust for Seymour Walford and his heirs for ever. Witnessed by Thomas Cecill and James Cade. Attested 16th April 1801 by Thomas Heydon and Abram King. Lease dated 7th February 1751 for one year of the same premises by Thomas Walford to Seymour Walford and Stephen Edkins. Witnessed as before.
