Description

Hand-coloured first (1695) and second (1787) editions of map of Warwickshire engraved by John Seller. Framed and glazed together. First published in 'Anglia Contracta, or a description of the Kingdom of England and principality of Wales, in several new mapps of all the countyes therein contained by John Seller, hydrogrpaher to the King' (1695). The second edition was published in 'The antiquities of England and Wales' by Franics Grosse, in 1787, above notes on the county printed in type
