Description

Gift with warranty from William de Alrescawe to Thomas son of Henry de Alrescawe and Alice his wife, for fealty and service, of a certain part of his land at Alrescawe, namely half a rood lying between the land of the said Henry and the grantor's land in breadth and extending in length from the grantor's messuage as far as the land of the said Henry; to hold the same rendering annually one halfpenny at the feast of St. Mary in March; and for this the said Thomas gives 5 shillings. Witnesses: Peter de Lindeworthe, Roger Gerin, Roger son of Rannolf, John Haudri of Norton', Peter his brother, Roger Smith (fabro) of Taneworthe, Richard 'forestario' of Hundesfeld' and others.
