Description

Gift with warranty from Simon de Manecestr' to William called Sparkes of Henl' chaplain, for 2 marks, of a grove which the grantor bought from Richard de la Sponne lying between the land of Geoffrey Eliis and the little grove of the said Richard in length, and in breadth between the land which William de Sydenhale held and the land which the said William the chaplain held; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee, with free ingress and egress to and from the said grove at all times of the year through the middle of the land of the said Richard 'sicut fueram feofatus'; rendering annually to the chief lord 4 pence and to the grantor 1 penny at Christmas.
