Fourteenth century copy of gift from Thomas earl of Warwick to John Archer 'pugillo meo' of all his liberty in Monkespathe and Ombresclade in Taneworth' within the metes and bounds defined in a charter from William earl of Warwick to Roger Archer, with all other lands which the said John holds of the earl in Taneworth, with all easements, chattels of fugitives and rights to lost property (wayuis et strayuis vocatis extraure), saving the service to the earl defined in the said charter; with the further grant of hunting rights in all parts of Taneworth' save the park of the earl; to hold the same land and privileges rendering annually twelve barbed arrows and two capons at Whitsun.
