Description

Gift from Richard 'Dispensarius' son of Henry de Warwick to John son of William le Archer, of all his lands and rents in Thaneworth, namely all the land which John Ketelbern holds with heathland, the land of William del Frith, the land of Gilbert Bodde with the homages and services pertaining to the same, ten acres of assart in the wood, three acres of heathland lying next the land of the said Gilbert and a certain piece of land which the grantor held of Warin le Turnur; to hold the same rendering to the chief lord the services specified in the charters which the grantor has; and should the said John die having appointed no assign, then the said lands to revert ot Thomas his brother. Witnesses: Sir Robert de Grendon', William de Bereford, Robert de Holehal', Robert de Offeworth', William del Lee, Adam Wodard, Walter the clerk of Thaneworth' and others.
