Bond from Andrew Archer of Tanworthe esquire, Edward Benford of the same gentleman and William Cooke of the same yeoman to Ralph Woodwarde the elder of Bythill in Alvechurch, Worcestershire, yeoman in the penal sum of £200 to secure repayment of a debt of £100 on the Eve of Whitsun next. Signed: Andrew Archer, Edward Benfford, William Cooke by mark. Dated 29 October 33 Elizabeth. Witnesses: Richard Acton, Francis Newbee, Richard Chambre, John Sheward, Henry Freth and William Kymberley. Memorandum, endorsed: [Andrew Archer] that the bill was paid 14 April 1592 and that £400 was owing to Woodward' for which he held 8 bonds to be paid in payments of £50 on 21 December and Whitsun each year until the said £400 is repaid.
