Tanworth

Description

Agreement between John Archer of Tonworth' esquire and Thomas Parker gentleman that the said Thomas should pay to the said John yearly 8 pence in silver for suit of court, [2 terms], and also his tenant was to sue and be sworn from court to court for his presentment; it was also agreed that if the said Thomas or any of his brethren lived at Tanworth' they were to choose whether to pay the fine or not. Dated, 13 Henry VII. Seal of red wax applied through a paper tag, 1/2 in., a merchant's mark. Endorsed: [Contemp.] Willium Parker' Alys hys wyffe English, paper, 121/4 x 41/2 in., indented.
