Feoffment from Edward Ferrers esquire, son and heir of Henry Ferrers knight, deceased, reciting a feoffment of 20 March 2 Edward IV [1461/1462] from Richard Archer esquire to the said Henry Ferrers, Richard Bagot, Thomas Hoorde, William Cumberford, William Charnell' esquire, William Dawes clerk and Edward Wysetawe, for the said Henry Ferrers, of the manor of Scotfeld and certain lands and tenements in Haselore and Drayton' in the county of Staff', the manor of Morton Bagot and the advowson of the church of the same manor, the manors of Toneworth', Doreshull', Awcote, Mourton' Bagot, Pathlowe, Garston, Bache, Wykeford, Magna Amington, Hullehale, Stodeley, and Tomworth' in the county of Warr', the manor of Malley, and all lands and tenements in Mortemer, Clover, Dudden' Hulle and Faloo in Salop, the manor of Overton' Sausse in the county of Leics., all lands and tenements in Esterleyke in the county of Notts., all lands and tenements in Lullyngton in the county of Derby and all lands and tenements in Ippusley in the county of Worcs., to hold to the use of Richard Archer and his heirs, and of which the said Henry Ferrers was seised at the time of his death through the death of the said Richard Bagot, Thomas Hoorde, William Cumberford, William Charnell', William Dawes and Edward Wysetawe, and the said property passed to the said Edward Ferrers on the death of the said Henry Ferrers; now Edward Ferrers enfeoffed the said John Archer, son and heir of the said Richard Archer of the said property; to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service.
