Description

Lease from Andrew Archer of Tanworth esquire to Robert Barneshurst of Lapworth yeoman of a pasture called Master Waters in Tanworth in the tenure of the said Robert and a parcel of ground called Little Lea almost adjoining the same in the tenure of Robert Barneshurst and Philippa his wife, excepting woods growing on the same and rights of entry and exit to the same; to hold from Lady Day [25 March] last for 21 years, rendering annually £20 [2 terms]; the said Andrew to have right of re-entry for non-payment or arrears of the same one month beyond any of the said terms; the said Robert to have tinsell to enclose the same and was to clear it of shrubs, bushes and briars; the said Andrew on request to supply timber for a house of three bays to be built on the same at the cost of the said Robert for the said Robert to inhabit and to have herbiage of the coppices for his cattle; the said Robert to pay chief rent and all other charges and to complete the said house within a year of receiving timber for the same and maintain the same during the said term.
