Description

Assignment from Francis Palmer of Tonworth yeoman, Katherine his wife and Francis their son to Andrew Archer of Tonworth esquire for £300 of lease no. 1658; to hold for the remainder of the term stated rendering annually £6.13.4d with the following exceptions: 1, lease by word of mouth from the said Francis to Walter Vicaris and Elizabeth his wife of a piece of ground called Beareleyes now divided in two; to hold for their lives or for the lives of the said Francis, Katherine and Francis, rendering annually 40s., payable to the said Andrew for the remainder of the said term. 2, Lease from Francis Palmer to Thomas Collins of the Stumpes, alias the Stubbs', and of the herbage of the Stubbs' coppice; to hold until 25 March 1606, rendering annually 13s.4d., payable to the said Andrew for the remainder of the term. 3, Lease by word of mouth from the said Francis to John Yonge labourer of a cottage, garden and orchard; to hold for 8 years from 25 March next, rendering annually 20s., payable to the said Andrew for the remainder of the said term. 4, One estate of George Suster in Slinge meadow until 25 March next.
