Description

Lease from Thomas Throckmorton of Coughton esquire and Agnes Throckmorton of Morehall widow to Richard Barker of Tonworthe yeoman, Anne his wife and Thomas their son of a messuage in the tenure of the said Richard within the Olde park of Tonworthe on the north side of the same, and three part of the said Olde park then divided into 4 parts, the said 3 parts being divided into 6 closes of pasture and meadow lying together on the north side of the said park, between a lane or heath called Canons heath alias Stanforde heath on the east, another heath called Langley heath on the west, the wood called Earles wood on the north and the land of Andrew Archer esquire called Woodlandes grove, another parcel of the other part of the said park divided into 4 parts late in the tenure of Thomas Waringe and then of the said Richard Barker, excepting always all oak, ash, and crabtrees growing upon the said property; to hold for the lives of the lessees, rendering annually £7.10s. and heriot of the best beast or 30s. when due.
