Lease from Francis Buckley of Codborough Hall in Tanworth gentleman and Elizabeth his wife to Thomas Griffin of Norton, Northamptonshire, yeoman for £6.2.6d. of a messuage called Davies house with 3 adjoining closes, another close 'lying to' the Ford way and called Ford Weaseworth and the further part of the next adjoining close called Great Weaseworth to the headland ' that the church path lyeth out' in Tanworth, the said Francis and Elizabeth reserving all timber rights; to hold for 21 years from Lady Day [25 March] next, rendering annually £12.5s. [2 terms], the said Francis and Elizabeth having the right of distraint for non-payment or arrears of the said rent 10 days beyond any of the said terms; the said Thomas to repair all mounds and hedges, the said Francis and Elizabeth providing sufficient tinsell for the same.
