Feoffment from Sir Edward Mountfort of Bescote in Walsall, Staffordshire, knight to Simon Archer of Tanworth esquire for £500 of the manor house called Codborrow Hall with gardens, orchards, waters, buildings and lands in Tanworth with closes of pasture called The Moatfield, Umbrillsclose, Little crofte, the Playne coppice, the Leasowes, Wiseworth and meadows called the Great meadow, Umbrills meadow, Bonnell meadow, and Foxcrofte, all in Tanowrth late in the tenure of Robert Attwood deceased, lands called Great Wistons alias Wixstons in Tanworth, also late in the tenure of the said Robert, with a cottage built on part of the same and a messuage called Davies tenement with a croft called Davies and another called Pipers, now divided into two, adjoining the said tenement, a croft called Poolecroft adjoining Codborrow pool, a meadow called Tilecrofte meadow and a leasow called Ryefield, a croft called Poolecroft also and a meadow called the Longmeadow, all late in the tenure of the said Robert Attwood; to hold freely for ever.
