Feoffment from John Chambers of Warwick baker and Bridget his wife to John Archer, son and heir of Sir Simon Archer of Tanworth knight for £27. 10s. of a parcel of land with headlands, meres and balks in Tanworth in Henfield, containing 3 acres with a headland to the north, a meadow called Cassewell meadow to the south and land of the said Sir Simon on all other sides, all which lands the said John Chambers lately purchased with other lands from John Ladkins of Over Bodington, Northamptonshire, yeoman, also a spring of water called Cassewell spring lying at the upper end of the said land; to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee for 8d. chief rent and due and customary service.
