Indenture of Mortgage dated 10th March 1853 between John Townsend of Snitterfield yeoman and John Margetts of Warwick auctioneer whereby John Townsend mortgaged to John Margetts in consideration of the £200 lent upon the Bond described in DR 38/421 together with a further £200 all that messuage etc. (lately re-built) with orchard, close etc adjoining, situate near the Church for many years in the occupation of John Townsend also all those newly erected cottages standing at the bottom of the orchard in the occupation of Henry Bryan and Mrs. Philips.
