Snitterfield

Description

Copy Will dated 17th November 1834 of William Gibbs then of Snitterfield whereby he devised his residence together with the adjoining cottage then in the occupation of George Raisin to his eldest son George Gibbs and he devised to his second son Joseph a house in the occupation of the said George Gibbs after the death of his, the Testator's wife Susannah for life, remainder to his children and in default of children of the said Joseph Gibbs to the Testator's daughters equally. And he bequeathed all the residue of his real and personal estate including the property described in DR 38/432 to his Executors upon trust for sale for his four daughters Sarah Brian, Mary Gibbs, Elizabeth Cooper and Ellen Keyte and appointed his son George Gibbs and Romeo Cooper his Executors. Signed by the Testator in the presence of Charles Horseman, John Bolton and James Pearson.
