Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 4th May 1837 between William Judd Harding of Baraset esquire eldest son and heir at law of William Harding late of Baraset aforesaid deceased of the 1st part, Harriet Harding of Alveston widow of the said William Harding deceased and John Harding of King's College, Cambridge clerk the only surviving Executor appointed by William Harding deceased of the 2nd part and John Townsend of Snitterfield yeoman eldest son and heir at law of John Townsend late of the same place who died intestate of the 3rd part whereby the said William Judd Harding as heir of William Harding deceased (with the concurrence of William Harding's widow and Executor) re-conveyed the Mortgage for £150 mentioned in DR 38/409 to John Townsend as heir at law of John Townsend senior. Signed W. J. Harding, Harriet Harding and John Harding. Sealed with a monoigram stamp. Witnessed by John Lane of Stratford-upon-Avon, Thomas Hunt of West Felton, Shrewsbury and Peter Pike Librarian of King's College, Cambridge. Lease dated 3rd May 1837 by William Judd Harding to John Townsend junior of the same property for one year. Signed William Judd Harding. Witnessed by John lane.
