Description

Indenture dated 20th February 1854 between John Margetts of Warwick auctioneer of the 1st part, Benjamin Townsend of the same place schoolmaster of the 2nd part and William Allen of the same place gentleman and William Barber of Grimley, Worcestershire farmer of the 3rd part whereby John Margetts at the request of Benjamin Townsend assigned to the persons of the 3rd part the Mortgage for £400 in property described in DR 38/407 and the said property was further charged by way of Mortgage to the persons of the 3rd part for 3300. Signeed John Margetts, Benjamin Townsend and William Allen. Monogram seal. Witnessed by Thomas Butterwrth, clerk to Mr. Margetts and John Hobbins, clerk to William Allen solicitor.
