Snitterfield

Description

Indenture dated 12th April 1856 between Benjamin Townsend of Warwick schoolmaster of the 1st part, Mark Philips of Snitterfield esquire of the 2nd part and Curtis Murton of Snitterfield gentleman of the 3rd part whereby Benjamin Townsend conveyed the property described in DR38/422 to Mark Philips to the use of the said Mark Philips for his life and for and after determination of that estate by any means to the use of Curtis Murton during the life of Mark Philips in trust for Mark Philips. Remainder to the use of Mark Philips and his heirs for ever for £1000. Signed Benjamin Townsend and Mark Philips. Seal of H. B. Sowdon (letters H.B.S. circumscribed with words Stratford-upon-Avon). Witnessed by Richard Bromwich, clerk to Mr. Nicks solicitor Warwick and H. B. Sowdon solicitor Stratford-upon-Avon. Together with Contract for sale dated 2nd October 1855 between Mr. Nicks solicitor Warwick and Mr. Sowdon solicitor Stratford-upon-Avon of the property described in DR38/422 and correspondence preliminary to completion in 1856.
