Description

Indenture dated 6th October 1807 between Edward Mann late of Snitterfield but then of Norton Lindsey yeoman of the 1st part, William Russell of Warwick mercer of the 2nd part, John Manton late of Wolverton but then of Snitterfield labourer of the 3rd part and William Gibbs of Snitterfield aforesaid yeoman of the 4th part (Reciting the conveyance of 28th July 1803 by Edward Mann and that William Russell, Trustee of Edward Mann, had not executed the same) the property described in DR38/432 was conveyed by John Manton to William Gibbs for £30, Edward Mann and William Russell being parties thereto in order to cure any possible defect in title. Signed Edward Mann, William Russell and John Manton. Monogram seal H H (Hunt Hobbes?). Witnessed by Robert Hobbes, W. George, clerk to Messrs. Hunt Hobbes, solicitors Stratford-upon-Avon, John Hughes of Snitterfield and Mary Eldridge of Alcester spinster.
