Covenant to declare the uses of a fine between John Ferrers of Walton-upon-Trent, Derbyshire, esquire and Edward Peyton of Chesterton esquire, plaintiffs, and Sir Simon Archer of Tanworth knight, deforciant, DR37/1/ 1910, of a capital messuage called Clayhall alias Fullwooday with another messuage and lands belonging to the same in Tanworth, Fullwood, Nuthurst, Hampton in Arden, in the tenure of Thomas Archer esquire, Susannah Hexton widow, John Court, Henry Bedford and Stephen Rogers; a capital messuage called Over Botteley House with lands in Wotton Wawen and Ullenhall, in the tenure of William Jennings, a messuage called Nether Botteley House and lands in Wotton Wawen and Ullenhall in the tenure of J____. a messuage and lands in Botteley in Wotton Wawen and Ullenhall in the tenure of George Smith, a messuage called Hall End with lands in Botteley in Wotton Wawen, in the tenure of William Smith and Thomas Smith, a cottage and lands in Tanworth in the several tenures of Mary Cottrell widow, _____Bennett widow, Robert Cromer and Ralph Hodge, lands in Beaudesert in the tenure of Thomas Cromer, 2 water mills with Milhams grounds in Tanworth, Wotton Wawen and Ullenhall in the tenure of Roger Norrice deceased; to hold to the use of Dame Anne Archer, wife of the said Sir Simon; and the said Sir Simon further covenants to raise the sum of £1,000, the interest of which at £6 in a £100 is to be held by the said John Ferrers and Edward Peyto to the use of the said Dame Anne until the said Sir Simon has paid to the said Dame Anne £1,000.
