Probate copy of the will , dated 1 December 1702, of Thomas Sanders of Tanworth yeoman requesting that he should be buried in Tanworth church as near as possible to his great friend Humphrey Lea and bequeathing the whole of his estate to his son Richard, so that he be sent to his mother and apprenticed to some trade, under the protection of Andrew Archer, master of the testator. The said Andrew Archer appointed executor. Witnesses: Thomas Sanders of Bewdsart gentleman and Sarah Crawley, wife of Richard Crawley esquire. Proved in the Prerogative court of Canterbury.
