Conveyance from Andrew Archer of Umberslade in Tanworth esquire, son and heir of Thomas Archer of the same esquire deceased, to Andrew Card of Gray's Inn, Middlesex, gentleman to create a tenant to the praecipe of the manors of Tanworth alias Tonoorth, Umberslade, Monkspath, Fulwoda, Sollyhull alias Sullyhull and Henly; Umberslade manor house and umberslad park, parcels of meadow called Broadcrofts, a close called Windmill Coppice, a messuage called Ewfeilds tenement now or late in the occupation of Edward Wilson, meadows, leasows and pastures called Ewfeilds, Ewfeilds Coppice, Blackmore Meadow, Birchcroft, Birchcroft meadow and Dunscroft, and lands belonging to the said tenement lying in Henefeild; a newly erected messuage with lands called Highfeilds in the tenure of Simon Benford and George Barton; a messuage called Pages in the tenure of William Brown with lands belonging to the same; a messuage in the tenure of John Bennett with lands belonging to the same in the tenure of the said John Bennett and Edward Collett which premises were purchased of Richard Bellamy and John Chambers; the advowson of the vicarage of Solihull; all cottages on the waste ground of the manor of Tanworth and all cottages leased by the said Sir Simon Archer; the warren and lodge in Earles Wood in the tenure of Richard Bushell; 2 closes and a pool in the tenure of the said Humphrey Rogers; 2 coppices called Charlecote Grove and Charlecote Grove Leasow late in the tenure of the said Sir Simon; 2 water mills under one roof called Botteley Mills with the Mill pool, Mill Tayle meadow and the Mill holmes in the tenure of the said Roger Morris; the capital messuage of Clea hall alias Fulwoda hall in the tenure of Susanna Heckstall with lands belonging to the same; a messuage in the tenure of Henry Benford; lands belonging to the said Cleahall late in the tenure of the said Sir Simon, Susanna Heckstall and Henry Benford with any other lands belonging to the said Cleahall which were at any time in the possession of the said Sir Simon or of Humphrey Archer esquire, which messuage and lands was purchased of William Sponer gentleman; all of which property lies in Tanworth, Umberslade, Monkespath, Fulwoda, Sollyhull, Henley, Widney end, Henwood, Knoll, Longdon, Nuthurst and Hampton in Arden; a messuage in Sollyhull in the tenure of Thomas Ashby; lands in Solly hull in the tenure of Thomas Holbetch, Joan Lea, Henry Palmer, and Francis Palmer; a messuage in Henley in the tenure of Hugh Handy; a messuage in Henley in the tenure of Thomas Hancocks with lands in Henley in the tenure of John Hopkins; a messuage in Ullenhall in Wotton Wawen in the tenure of John Atkins; a messuage with lands in Ullenhall in the tenure of Samuel Claridge; all other lands in Ullenhall and Wotton Wawen now or late in the tenures of John Hpkins, Stephen Nichols and Humphrey Deans; a messuage in Nuthurst in the tenure of John Court; a messuage in Packwood in the tenure of George Whitefoot; lands in Bewdesert alias Belsert in the tenures of John Copoper and Robert Cranment; the capital messuage in Warwick in the tenure of the said Andrew Archer with all lands and rights belonging to the same; and also any other land of which the said Andrew Archer is seised in the said parishes; to hold to the use of the said Andrew Archer for ever that the said Andrew Card may be a perfect tenant of the freehold so that a recovery shall be suffered by Francis Dashwood in favour of the said Andrew Archer for ever.
