Description

Conveyance by lease and release from John Butwell of Tanworth yeoman and Elizabeth his wife to Andrew Archer of Umberslade Hall for £150 of 3 closes, one of which was then a coppice, lying together in Tanworth, bounded on all sides by lands of the said Andrew called Aylesbury land, containing 10 acres, formerly being one close and a meadow called Warners in the tenure of the said John Butwell, reciting nos. 1943 and 1969; to hold for ever. Hall, Edmund Makepeace. 2 circular seals of red wax applied on parchment, 1/2 in., a lion's head erased.
