Description

Conveyance by lease and release from Andrew Archer of Umberslade esquire to Thomas Archer of Pirgo, Essex, esquire, his son and heir, for £4,000 of a messuage called Lea House with parcels of land called the Coppice Close, the Lea Hill, the Meadow, Stubbs, House close, Hither Calves Close, Wheat Close, upper Mould, middle Mould, Lower Moulds and further Calves close and also all those lands late inthe tenure of Isaac Court deceased called the Upper Coppice, the House close, the Barn Close, Shapeing Hill, Dingle close, Meadow Hill, and Neither Coppice, all of which lands lie in Tanworth and were late in the tenure of Hugh Black deceased; also a messuage called Bosses with 9 closes belonging to the same, lying in Nuthurst in Hampton in Arden containing 50 acres and inthe tenure of John Court; also a messuage called Newland farm with parcels of land called Home meadow, Lane close, Middle close, Barn close, the Little meadow, Coppis close, Sharrons hill, Broad Leasow, Gilbert Bird land, Little Appletons, Middle Appletons, Little Lane close, the Neither Heath close, the nearest Middle Heath close, and the furthermost Heath close, all of which property lies in Tanworth near Browns Green and was late in the tenure of Joseph Bissell and Henry Bissell and now in the tenure of Henry Shaw, bound to the west by the land of the said Andrew Archer in the tenure of John ball, on the north by a lane or highway leading from Tanworth town to Salters street, on the east by a coppice of the said Andrew Archer called Mathewes Coppice and on the south by land of the said Andrew Archer in the tenure of the said John Ball; to hold for ever.
