Description

Indenture dated 6th January 1681 between Richard Toms of Snitterfield baker and John Meades of Snitterfield ale seller whereby Richard Toms demised to John Meades a cottage etc. called or known by the name or sign of the White Horse or Eight Leys House together with the orchard etc. then in the occupation of John Meades for 21 years at a rent of £4 per annum. Signed John Meades. Seal destroyed. Witnessed by John Arnolds, William Meades and Edward Cookes.
