Bargain and sale with warranty from John Somervyle of Edryston, Warwickshire, esquire to Bartholomew Ashebye of Tonworthe husbandman for £29 of a close in the lordship of Monkespathe in the parish of Tonworth called the Rough Prattes lying between a lane there called the Gayle land to the south and land in the tenure of John Brodrocke called Elyottes to the north in breadth, and extending from a pasture called Goode Hartes landes on the west to the highway leading from Solyhull to Henley on the east; also a meadow lying at the lower end of Good Hartes landes in Monkespathe, all which lands were part of the lands of William Flemynges of Henley and late being part of the lands of Edward Ferrers of Bevyngton esquire in Monkespathe then in the tenure of Bartholomew Ashebye; to hold for ever.
