Confirmation by Richard Fullwood of Tanworth to John Browne of a lease of 28 April 30 Henry VIII [1538] from Richard Fullwood, grandfather of the said Richard, to Thomas Parsons of one croft in Tanworth lying in length between land formerly belonging to Master Clerkesons called Barnefieldes and the Queen's highway and in breadth between land formerly belonging to Thomas Warings and the Queen's highway to hold for 99 years at an annual rent of 2s. 4d. [2 terms] with right of re-entry for non-payment or arrears after 12 weeks, and the assignment of which lease was now held by the said John Browne; the said Richard, claiming that the said John had forfeited the same by non-payment of rent due Lady Day last re-entered the said premises but without observing the time and place required in the said condition; to hold for the remainder of the said term.
