Description

Indenture dated 15th April 1721 between Stephen Sitch of Admington, Gloucestershire yeoman of one part and Mary Smith of Snitterfield widow of the other part whereby the mortgage term of 500 years in the property described in DR38/460 was assigned by Stephen Sitch to Mary Smith for £65-5-0. Signed by the mark of Stephen Sitch. Seal, a lion rampant. Witnessed by the mark of William Sitch of Shottery and Joseph Hunt. Endorsed with a Memorandum that William Jackson of Snitterfield wheelwright married one of the daughters of Richard and Ann Ellins and had on 9th July 1728 borrowed of Mary Smith £15 which he agreed should be charged upon the same property. Signed by the mark of William Jackson in the presence of Mary Hobday and Thomas Woolmer.
