Description

Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 19th August 1790 between Sarah Polton of Snitterfield widow (one of the sisters and a devisee named in the Will of John Sneath late of Snitterfield shoemaker deceased) of the one part and John Marshall of Snitterfield cordwainer of the other part whereby Sarah Polton conveyed a messuage, garden etc. in Snitterfield formerly part of Cobler's Garden purchased by John Sneath, to John Marshall for £20. Signed with the mark of Sarah Polton. Seal, a lion rampant. Witnessed by John Taplin and John George. Lease dated 18th August 1790 between the same parties of the same property for one year. Signed, sealed and witnessed as before.
