Indenture dated 24th December 1861 between Charles Loach of Snitterfield labourer of the 1st part, John Holmes of Wootton Wawen timber dealer of the 2nd part and Priscilla Davis of Tanworth widow of the 3rd part whereby the fee simple in the property described in DR 38/654, together with another plot of ground adjoining the above situate in The Green, Snitterfield containing 42 square yards (measuring 18 feet broad by 21 feet deep) was conveyed by Charles Loach and John Holmes to Priscilla Davis for £80 subject to the Equity of Redemption in Charles Loach. Signed Charles Loach and John Holmes. Common red wax stamp seal. Witnessed by Thomas Burns Couchman, solicitor Henley-in-Arden. Receipt dated 5th March 1878 signed by Priscilla Davis for £81 upon discharge of the above Mortgage.
