Description

Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated 23rd February 1828 between William Wood of Snitterfield labourer of the 1st part, Henry Smith of Tiddington in the Parish of Alveston gentleman of the 2nd part and Thomas Morris of Warwick gentleman of the 3rd part whereby a cottage and garden etc. at Snitterfield formerly in the tenure of John Wood the father, afterwards of Elizabeth Wood the mother of the said William Wood, then for several years last past of William Wood, bounded on North South by premises belonging to Richard Smith, the father of the said Henry Smith, on the East by a public lane and on the West by premises of William Gibbs was conveyed by William Wood to Henry Smith for £35. Signed by Henry Smith , Thomas Morris and by the mark of William Wood. Seal bearing letters H M. Witnessed by Edward Banister, clerk to Messrs. Haydon Morris solicitors, Warwick. Lease dated 22nd February 1828 by William Wood to Henry Smith of the same premises for one year. Signed by the mark of William Wood. Sealed and witnessed as before.
