Description

Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated 6th March 1802 between William Brazier of Shelford, Cambridgeshire gentleman (eldest son and heir at law of William Brazier then sometime since of Snitterfield coachman deceased) of the first part, the Reverend James Roberts of Stoneleigh clerk of the 2nd part, John Green of Snitterfield carpenter of the 3rd part and William Russell of Warwick mercer of the 4th part whereby William Brazier and the Reverend James Roberts (Assignee of the mortgage term of 500 years from William Mallory see DR 38/526) conveyed the fee simple in the property described in DR 38/522, DR 38/523 DR 38/524 to John Green in consideration of £70 and also the said term of 500 years to William Russell upon trust to attend the inheritance. Signed William Brazier, James Roberts, John Green and William Russell. Seal Greek courtier's head(?). Witnessed by Thomas Heydon solicitor Warwick, Robert White, the mark of Mary Mountford Hill and Abel Palmer. Lease dated 5th March 1802 by William Brazier to John Green of the same property for one year. Signed William Brazier. Sealed as before. Witnessed by Robert White and Mary Mountford Hill (by her mark). Receipt dated 29th July 1829 for £23-15-0 from Mr. Robert White. Signed by William Brazier.
