Reciting DR38/1145, it was witnessed that they the said John Cowper and Joel Northam (in consideration of 5/- to each of them paid by Matthew Barlow) and in consideration of £200 paid by Matthew Barlow to Samuel Farren, they the said John Cowper and Joel Northam at the direction of Samuel Farren assigned to Matthew Barlow the residue of the term of 99 years (limited by DR38/1145) in the premises described in DR38/1145 subject to a proviso for redemption upon repayment of the £200 and interest by Samuel Farren to Matthew Barlow.
