Indenture of Bargain and sale enrolled in Chancery between Thomas Hay Farren of Upper Ingon gentleman (eldest son and heir of Samuel Farren gentleman deceased) of the 1st part, Robert Pardoe of Lincoln's Inn, Middlesex gentleman of the 2nd part and John Payton of Stratford-upon-Avon wine merchant of the 3rd part whereby for barring the entail and in the premises described in DR38/1145 and for limiting the said premises to certain uses, and in consideration of 10/- to Thomas Hay Farren paid by Robert Pardoe, he the said Thomas Hay Farren conveyed the premises at Upper Ingon then in the occupation of William Bradford also an estate in Loxley then in the occupation of John Stanley to Robert Pardoe and his heirs to the intent that he might become tenant in an Action for Recovery to be suffered (John Payton being Demandant), which recovery should enure to the sole use of Thomas Hay Farren and his heirs for ever.
