Copy Will of Thomas Gibbs of Brighton Villa, Milverton near Leamington Priors gentleman whereby he devised his debts to be paid out of his personal estate, and appointed his only daughter Elizabeth Anne Gibbs and his nephew Henry Samuel Gibbs Executrix and Executor of his Will and devised to them all his farm at Norton Lindsey called the Big House Farm then in the occupation of the Testator's brother Samuel Gibbs and the said Henry Samuel Gibbs upon trust to pay the profits thereof to his daughter Elizabeth Ann Gibbs for her life and he directed his Trustees to permit the said Samuel Gibbs and Henry Samuel Gibbs to occupy the said farm during their joint lives or the survivor of them at a rent of £105 per annum keeping the premises in repair and paying rates thereon, and after the decease of the Testator's daughter the Testator directed the said hereditaments to be held in trust for all the children of his said daughter who should attain 21 years and in default of such children then to the said Henry Samuel Gibbs absolutely and the Testator devised to his said daughter Elizabeth Anne Gibbs and his nephew Henry Samuel Gibbs his house called Brighton Villa in Milverton upon trust to pay the rents and profits to the said Elizabeth Anne Gibbs for her life and after her decease to any husband she might marry for his life and thereafter upon trust for any children of his said daughter and in default of such issue to the Testator's nephew Thomas Brookes Gibbs absolutely and all the residue of his real and personal estate (including the property described in DR38/1116) to his said daughter Elizabeth Anne Gibbs absolutely. Witnessed by Thomas Chadwick solicitor, Warwick and Samuel B. Southey, clerk to Mr. Chadwick. Testator died on 16th September 1874 and the Will was proved at Birmingham on 30th November 1874 by Elizabeth Anne Gibbs and Henry Samuel Gibbs.
