Description

Indenture of Lease between the Reverend John Lucy of Charlecote House clerk of one part and Edward Hazelwood of Ingon Lane in the Parish of Hampton Lucy yeoman of the other part whereby the Reverend John Lucy demised to Edward Hazelwood a parcel of land then lately inclosed (from the Waste) in Ingon Lane containing about half an acre bounded on the North and South sides by the said lane which leads from Stratford-upon-Avon to Snitterfield and on all other sides by the estate of George Lloyd esquire, also a messuage or cottage then lately erected by Edward Hazelwood on part of the said land for the lives of Edward Hazelwood (then aged 34 years) and Sarah his wife (then aged 31 years) and John Hazelwood (then aged 5 years) and the survivor of them, at a yearly rent of 2/6 subject to the payment of Land Tax by the tenant. Note this parcel is numbered 44 and coloured red on DR 38/1353.
