Description

Indenture of Conveyance between William Combe of Old Stratford esquire of one part and Henry Cale of the Borough of Stratford-upon-Avon yeoman of the other part whereby William Combe in consideration of £216 to him paid by Henry Cale conveyed to the said Henry Cale all his one yard land of arable meadow and pasture with appurtenances more particularly set out in the Schedule thereto situate in the Common Fields of Old Stratford, Bishopton, Shottery and Welcombe then in the occupation of Thomas Boovye with appurtenances. Signed William Combe. Witnessed by Thomas Smith, Richard Ashfield and John Whitehead. Memorandum of Livery of Seisin endorsed in the presence of Nathaniel Brookes, John Taylor, Jonathan Burman, John Hawkins, Thomas Horne, Edward Compton, John Charnock and John Hancox.
