Description

Copy Will of Edward Cooper of Pelham Street in the Parish of Christ Church, Middlesex weaver whereby he devised to his son John the premises described in DR 38/1202 DR 38/1207 then in the possession of John Smith also two leasehold messuages on the South side of Pelham Street in the occupation of Charles Cooper and Thomas Hambridge also a messuage on the North side of the same street in which the Testator then lived and he bequeathed to his daughter Elizabeth Morley wife of John Morley of the Artillery Ground weaver £400, to his grandchildren Elizabeth, Mary Ann and Susanna, the children of the said Elizabeth John Morley £50 each, to his daughter Sarah Exton wife of George Exton of Houndsditch salesman £400, to his daughter Ann Harris wife of Joseph Harris of White Gate Alley weaver £200, to his daughter Mary Cooper who then lived with him £1000 as well as certain articles of plate, to his brother Charles Cooper £20, to Thomas Hambridge £5, to his brother John Cooper £10 and the residue of his estate to his son John Cooper whom he also appointed his sole executor. Witnessed by John Johnson, Joseph Harris senior and Alexander Bolton scrivener. Proved at London 19th February 1735 before Edward Kinaston LLD by John Cooper.
