Indenture of settlement between Charles Henry Hunt of Stratford-upon-Avon esquire of the 1st part, Elizabeth Anne Andrews spinster daughter of James Pettit Andrews of Brompton Row, Middlesex esquire of the 2nd part and James Pettit Andrews and Thomas Hunt of Lincolns Inn, Middlesex gentleman of the 3rd part. Reciting that a marriage was intended between Charles Henry hunt and Elizabeth Anne Andrews, it was witnessed that Charles Henry Hunt in consideration of the said intended marriage as also for 10/- by the said James Pettit Andrews and Thomas Hunt to him paid, conveyed to the said James Pettit Andrews and Thomas Hunt the premises described in DR 38/1286 in trust for Charles Henry hunt until the marriage in fee simple and thereafter to Charles Henry Hunt for life, remainder to Elizabeth Anne Andrews for her life (if she survive) in bar dower, remainder upon such trusts as the said Charles Henry Hunt should declare, with power to sell the property during his life.
