Description

Attested Copy Indenture between Richard Marriott Freeman of Bartlett's Buildings, London gentleman of one part and Charles Thomas Warde of Westover House, Calbourne, Isle of Wight, esquire of the other part reciting that the sum of £14,000 ordered by the Court to be raised upon the hereditaments devised by George Lloyd to Charles Thomas Warde in fee in remainder had been raised upon security of the Welcombe Estate by an Indenture dated 10th February 1836 (DR38/1313) and reciting that the purchase of Clopton had been completed and that the debts and legacies of George Lloyd deceased had been paid and that John Gameliel Lloyd died on 4th January 1837, it was thereby witnessed that Richard Marriott Freeman in consideration of 10/- to him paid by Charles Thomas Warde re-conveyed to Charles Thomas Warde the premises at Hulme, Lancashire conveyed to him by DR38/1310 discharged from the said Mortgage. Witnessed by P. E. Hinks, solicitor, Northampton. Attested by R. W. Williams Joseph Clowes, clerks to Messrs. Cunliffes, Charlewood Bury solicitors, Manchester. Note the equitable interest in this property had been settled by Charles Thomas Warde by DR38/1311.
