Indenture of Assignment dated 10th February 1836 between Sommersby Edwards of Long Buckby, Northamptonshire gentleman of the 1st part, William Francis Patterson of Leamington gentleman of the 2nd part, John Gameliel Lloyd of Welcombe Hall esquire of the 3rd part, Charles Thomas Warde of Westover House, Calbourne, Isle of Wight esquire of the 4th part, Samuel Jones Loyd of Lothbury, London esquire banker of the 5th part, Edward Loyd of Manchester esquire banker of the 6th part and Lewis Loyd of Lothbury, London esquire banker of the 7th part. Reciting DR38/1313, it was thereby witnessed that Sommersby Edwards in consideration of 10/- to him paid by Edward Loyd (at the direction of John Gameliel Lloyd and Charles Thomas Warde upon the appointment of Samuel Jones Loyd) assigned the term of 1000 years (assigned to him by DR38/1312) to Edward Loyd upon trusts thereafter expressed also that William Francis Patterson in consideration of 10/- to him paid by Lewis Loyd (at the direction of John Gameliel Lloyd and Charles Thomas Warde upon the appointment of Samuel Jones Loyd) assigned the other term of 1000 years (assigned to him by DR38/1312) to Lewis Loyd upon trusts thereafter expressed, and it was agreed that the said Edward Loyd and Lewis Loyd should stand possessed of the said terms upon trust to protect the Mortgage of Samuel Jones Loyd and thereafter upon trust to attend the inheritance. Indenture dated 4th August 1840 between Edward Loyd of Manchester esquire banker of the 1st part, Lewis Loyd of Lothbury, London esquire banker of the 2nd part, Samuel Jones Loyd of Lothbury aforesaid esquire banker of the 3rd part, Charles Thomas Warde of Westover House, Calbourne, Isle of Wight, esquire of the 4th part, John Bennett Lawes of Rothamstead, Hertfordshire esquire of the 5th part and Thomas Warde of Leamington clerk of the 6th part. Reciting that Charles Thomas Warde had paid to Samuel Jones Loyd the sum of £14,000 due upon the Mortgage described in DR38/1313, it was thereby witnessed that Edward Loyd in consideration of 10/- to him paid by John Bennett Lawes and at the direction of Samuel Jones Loyd assigned the term of 1000 years to the said John Bennett Lawes upon trust to attend the inheritance of Charles Thomas Warde also Lewis Loyd in consideration of 10/- to him paid of Charles Thomas Warde at the direction of Samuel Jones Loyd assigned the term of 1000 years vested in him to Charles Thomas Warde upon trust to attend the inheritance.
