Description

Indenture between Thomas Taylor of Armscott, Worcestershire yeoman Hannah his wife and William Plestoe of Preston-on-Stour yeoman of one part and Frances Plestoe of Preston-on-Stour (widow and mother of the said William Plestoe) of the other part whereby to the intent that the premises thereinafter described might be cleared and discharged from all claims to dower of the said Frances Plestoe so that the same might enure to the use of Frances Plestoe and William Plestoe and their heirs and in consideration of £200 paid by Frances Plestoe to Thomas Taylor, they the said Thomas Taylor, Hannah his wife and William Plestoe granted to Frances Plestoe the premises described in DR38/1339 to the use of her the said Frances Plestoe and William Plestoe and to the use of their heirs for ever. Signed Thomas Taylor, Hannah Taylor and William Plesto. Witnessed by Robert Halford, Peter Holland and by the marks of Thomas Hartwell and David Hartwell. Memorandum endorsed that after the execution of the above conveyance Peter Holland tenant of the premises had paid to Frances Plestoe £6 by way of atonement. Witnessed by the marks of Thomas Edward Hartwell.
