Description

Indenture between Robert Needham Philips of Snitterfield esquire of one part and John William Sleath of Warwick boot and shoemaker of the other part. Reciting an Indenture dated 21st December 1866 whereby a piece of land formerly called Hill Close situate in Linen Street was conveyed to Mark Philips and reciting the Will of Mark Philips dated 13th December 1873 whereby he devised inter alia the said premises to his brother Robert Needham Philips and reciting the death of Mark Philips on 23rd December 1873, it was thereby witnessed that Robert Needham Philips in consideration of £130 to him paid by John William Sleath conveyed to the said John William Sleath parcel of the said Hill Close delineated in a Map thereto, then garden ground. Signed Robert Needham Philips and John William Smith. Red wax seal with letter H thereon. Witnessed by John Calloway, agent, Snitterfield and Richard Child Heath, solicitor, Warwick.
