Description

Indenture between Charles Thomas Warde of Clopton House esquire of the 1st part, Mark Philips of Snitterfield esquire of the 2nd part and Henry Best Sowden of Stratford-upon-Avon gentleman of the 3rd part. Reciting that Mark Philips claimed to be entitled to a right of way over the private road from Clopton to Greenhill as was coloured yellow on the Map thereto and that Charles Thomas Warde had erected a messuage in the portion shown on the Map so as to obstruct the right of way claimed and reciting that differences as to the boundaries of their respective estates had arisen between Charles Thomas Warde and Mark Philips, it was thereby witnessed that each of the said parties agreed as to the diversion and upkeep of the said private road and also as to the user of the same particularly set out in a Map thereto together with other easements and profits then in dispute. Signed Charles Thomas Warde and Mark Philips. Witnessed by Henry Best Sowden, solicitor, Stratford-upon-Avon and Henry Cross.
