Indenture of Assignment between Edward Willes of Serjeant's Inn, Middlesex esquire, one of H. M. Serjeants at Law of the 1st part, Thomas Ward of Warwick mercer of the 2nd part, the Honourable Heneage Legge esquire, one of the Barons of H. M. Court of Exchequer Robert Hasley the elder of Lincoln's Inn, Middlesex esquire of the 3rd part, John Palmer of the Middle Temple, London esquire of the 4th part, Richard Wright of Warwick gentleman of the 5th part and Edward Croft of Warwick gentleman of the 6th part. Reciting DR38/1057, DR38/1059, DR38/1060 DR38/1064, it was thereby witnessed that in consideration of £236-16-0 paid to Thomas Ward by Richard Wright, and in consideration of 5/- apiece paid to Thomas Ward and Edward Willes by Edward Croft, they the said Thomas Ward and Edward Willes (at the direction of Heneage Legge, Robert Hasley, John Palmer and Richard Wright) assigned to Edward Croft the residue of several terms of 500 years and 1000 years in the property known as Wolverton Meadow referred to in DR38/1057 upon trust to attend the inheritance of Richard Wright.
