Description

Attested Copy Indenture between Charles Henry Hunt of Stratford-upon-Avon esquire of one part and William Harding of Hampton Lucy esquire John Wilkes of Coughton gentleman of the other part. Reciting that at a meeting of Creditors of Charles Henry Hunt his co-partners held at the Shakespeare Inn, Stratford-upon-Avon on 11th April 1793, it was agreed that the said Charles Henry Hunt should execute a Deed of Assignment for the benefit of his creditors, it was thereby witnessed that in execution of the said agreement and in consideration of 10/- paid to Charles Henry Hunt by William Harding and John Wilkes, he the said Charles Henry Hunt conveyed to William Harding and John Wilkes his Manor of Wolverton and hereditaments therein (described in DR38/1052 DR38/1071) also the Manor of Loxley and divers hereditaments in the Parish of Loxley in the occupations of Edward Pickering, Henry Crockett and John Cattle bought and purchased by Charles Henry Hunt of Edward Miller Mundy esquire, Thomas Hay Farren esquire and William Court gentleman also several messuages in the Borough and Parish of Stratford-upon-Avon aforesaid also another messuage farm and premises at Bishopton in the Parish of Old Stratford then in the tenure of Samuel Smith also messuages, farms, lands and appurtenances in Kings Norton, Worcestershire in the tenure of Joseph Wakeman also other messuages and hereditaments situate in Tanworth, Welford-on-Avon, Wootton Wawen upon trust for the creditors of the said Charles Henry Hunt. Witnessed by Thomas Smith. Attested by Thomas Mason, solicitor, Cornhill, London and Thomas Greenway, clerk to Mr. Mason.
