Description

Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated 24th June 1808 between Charles Mills late of Mansfield Street, Marylebone, Middlesex but then of Barford esquire of the 1st part, Samuel Allen of Bordesley in the Parish of Aston juxta Birmingham gentleman of the 2nd part and John Cox of the Hamlet of Deritend in the said Parish of Aston plane maker (a Trustee for Samuel Allen) of the 3rd part whereby Charles Mills in consideration of £5245 to him paid by Samuel Allen and in consideration of 10/- to him paid by John Cox conveyed the Manor of Wolverton and all other the hereditaments conveyed to William Hunt by Indentures dated 24th 25th June 1765 and 26th 27th September 1766 (DR38/1052 DR38/1071) to the use of Samuel Allen and John Cox and their heirs for ever, as to the estate of John Cox in trust for Samuel Allen and his heirs for ever. Signed by all the parties. Witnessed by John Johnson, Robert James and W. N. Markin. Lease dated 23rd June 1808 for one year of the same property by Charles Mills to Samuel Allen and John Cox. Signed Charles Mills. Witnessed by John Johnson and Robert James, clerks to Messrs. Glynn Co., London.
