Quitclaim from John Stokes of Henl' in Arden' to Richard Halouton' of Ulnehale of two crofts on land lying in Ulnehale called Cokeslondis, in length from Henleyheth' to the land of St. Mary of Ulnehale called Stanyard' and in breadth between the lane called Cun'esbyelone on the one hand and the land of William Som' called Romfeld on the other hand, reserving to the said John the annual rent of 18d. from the manor of Molkeley; to hold for ever. Dated at Ulnehale on the penultimate day of March 49 years from the beginning of the reign of Henry VI and the first year of his restoration. Witnesses: John Halouton', John Grove, Richard Hobday, Nicholas Irton', Robert Symondes and others. Octagonal seal of red wax on tag, 1/2 x 1/4 in., a cross between the letter I S. Latin, parchment, 93/4 x 33/4 in., indented.
